I Am Green With Envy

If I had not just launched my first book, there’d be a suitcase being packed for Ireland, which is where much of The Last Promise was written.

The envy mentioned in the title above refers to the fact that my good friend, Duncan, is presently stuffing a backpack to return to the emerald isle—via a tiny village in the north of Italy—for reconstruction work on an historical painting, and to his little place in south west Cork - while I remain here. I have books to sell and a schedule to fill.

I think it’s near Guinness o’clock...
